If so, you’ll definitely find it at Rome Park Schmitten or on the Ski Movie Hill. And if you ever prefer to swap out your skis for snowshoes or hiking boots, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent mountain vistas without skis, on winter hiking paths climbing as high as 2,000 m above sea level.

Maiskogel Family Mountain

New since December 2019

Since December 2019, a long-desired lift connection came true: Directly from the village of Kaprun you can reach the ski area on the glacier with two new lift connections.

Since winter 2018/19 you can reach the ski area on the glacier even faster and more comfortable: From Kaprun you will reach the Maiskogel with two cable cars and from there you will be carried seamlessly to the Langwiedboden and on to the ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
