The Family Gschwandtner-Reinhart
An almost 75-year tradition of hospitality unites the Families Gschwandtner and Reinhart with the Tauernhof. From the time this place was opened back in 1953, the mother of Gerald Gschwandtner, Maria Gschwandtner, ran the inn with her three sisters.
Over the years, the family business was steadily expanded, most recently with the building of a modern quite extensive 500 m² wellness oasis christened the “Tauernreich”. And so it was that, over the course of time, an inn was transformed into a hotel, one that more than does justice to the high expectations of modern hospitality.
Today it is Gerald Gschwandtner and his wife Inge, as well as their daughter Christina and her husband Philip who run the Tauernhof. While the technically experienced hosts Gerald and Philip take especially care that everything in the house "runs", Inge and Christina with their team are constantly keeping a close eye on the wellbeing of their guests and advice on hiking, skiing and co. To continue a time-tested tradition on into the future, daughter Christina and son in law Philip are already actively supporting them in many parts of the Tauernhof.
We look forward to having the privilege of welcoming you here soon!
Sincerely - The Gschwandtner-Reinhart Family
& the Tauernhof-Team
