Cross-Country Skiing in Kaprun

Fans of Nordic winter sports will be delighted: 40 km of outstandingly maintained ski trails crisscross the Zell am See-Kaprun winter sports region, with the perfect trail here for everyone. If you prefer to take things a little easier, ride the bus up the Schmitten and ski the 2 km loop there. More challenging: the Kitzsteinhorn Höhenloipe, where pros put in their altitude training at 3,000 m beneath a radiant winter sun.

Night Skiing

Under the lights, night owls can continue to squeeze in as many more laps as they want until 10 p.m. The trail access is just 5 minutes from Hotel Tauernhof, and features snowmaking capability in winter as needed – with pure cross-country enjoyment guaranteed!
