An almost 70-year tradition of hospitality connects the Gschwandtner & Reinhart Families with the Tauernhof. From the very outset, in 1953, when business first opened, it was the grandmother of Christina Reinhart (née Gschwandtner), Maria Gschwandtner, who ran the inn of that time with her three sisters.

Time-tested Tradition

Today, Christina Reinhart and husband Philip, together with Christina's parents, Inge and Gerald Gschwandtner, continue to be hosts with a true heart & passion for their family-run Tauernhof.

Long weekend break

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Nice location for skiing activities. The bus stop just outside the hotel

Excellent stay. Very enjoyable again.
Not much to add. As above 218 could do with a refurbishment but its still ok. The children enjoyed their visit.

Wonderful

The hotel is very well located, near the bus stop, city center, gondola and market. The restaurant was great, serving taste and healthy food. The spa area exceeded our expectations.

Vinter vacation in the Taurenhof

We enjoyed our stay in Kaprun with a nice support of theTauernhof staff and facilities.

Another perfect holiday

Another perfect weeks skiing holiday in our favourite resort with good snow conditions friendly people and a great atmosphere

Was very good time and conditions to stay. In the future we will choose again the hotel if we will came for ski. Maybe in the near future we will come in the summer.

Skiing holiday destination with kids

We had a wonderful skiing holiday with the kids. The room was amazing—spacious, spotless, and perfect for families. The restaurant staff were exceptional: so kind, accommodating, and always smiling. The pool was also a highlight, an ideal place for the children to unwind after a day on the slopes. Highly recommended for families!

Early season Ski Canp

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, excellent food, lovely and surprisingly large wellness area. Perfect location for bars and busses.
