Der Ort Kaprun

Kaprun is a picturesque little village in the middle of the famous "Hohen Tauern" National Park and is situated at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn-glacier in a sunny valley basin - so guests will have guaranteed snow and fantastic scenery. Imbedded in the marvellous mountain scenery of the region with its 3000 inhabitants and about 5000 guest beds it belongs to one of the best addresses in European tourism.

The valley, which is surrounded by gigantic mountains, has a lot of scenic charm. - Already in autumn, a lot of ski- and snowboardfans come to practise their hobby. In winter the "Europa-Sportregion" offers 130 km of slopes and 56 cable cars and lifts in the two ski areas of Kaprun and Zell am See. Snow guaranteed, vast slopes on the glacier and fantastic pistes - this is a great "Snow-holiday"!
